🌟 Getting Back on Track and Ready for a Busy Few Nights Ahead

After a chaotic week of cancelled trains after the Union Street fire and uncertainty, I’m very happy to say that I’m now back — and, all going well, my trains are running again from tomorrow. Fingers firmly crossed!

It’s been a strange week of juggling plans and doing my best from a distance, but I’m really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and seeing everyone at our upcoming events. Big thanks to our assistant organisers Liz & John for keeping things running smoothly and stepping in to host my events.

A few events for you to have a look at

🎲 Glasgow Board Games Afternoon

Our Glasgow Board Games Afternoon is coming up, and it’s such a relaxed, friendly way to spend a few hours. If you fancy making a day of it, why not join us for Brunch beforehand? It’s a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

📚 Book Groups – Glasgow & Ayrshire

Both book groups are running as normal, and April’s Glasgow meeting includes an author talk, which is always a brilliant opportunity to get deeper into the story and hear directly from the person behind the pages.

🧀🍷 Cheese & Wine Wednesdays

These are consistently popular — no surprise there! If you’re thinking about coming along, it’s worth getting in quickly as spaces tend to disappear fast.

❓ Quiz Nights – Ayrshire & Glasgow

Our Quiz Nights are back in both regions, and they always bring a great mix of laughs, friendly competition, and “I swear I knew that!” moments. Again, these fill up quickly, so keep an eye out.

After the disruption of the last few days, I’m really hoping things can get back on track now. Thank you to everyone for your patience, your messages, and your understanding — it’s very much appreciated.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon and getting stuck into a brilliant run of events.
