Glasgow Film Festival 2026

🎬 Glasgow Film Festival – Ticket Alert!

It’s nearly that time of year again… Glasgow Film Festival tickets go on sale tomorrow for Cinecard holders, and general sale opens on Monday. One of our favourite events of the year!

If you know us, you’ll know we go full speed during GFF — usually 3 to 4 films a day — and we absolutely love it. It’s an intense, brilliant, cinema‑soaked fortnight.

📅 Our chosen films will be posted on Friday, so keep an eye out. If you’re planning to join us for any of them, just a wee reminder: these outings are very much about the films, not social events. I’m usually running between screenings with just enough time to grab a drink (and occasionally some food!), so there’s not much downtime for chatting.

Top Tip:   I highly recommend the free morning films. You simply turn up and get a ticket at the door — but get there early, grab a coffee, and settle in. They’re getting more and more popular every year.

🎟 Tickets:   Everyone buys their own tickets, as seating is unallocated for all films except the Opening & Closing Galas in GFT1.

👥 New! Glasgow Film Festival Group   I’ve set up a dedicated group on the website for updates, chat, and any spare tickets that pop up. Make sure you join if you’re planning to take part.

Availability:  I won’t be around much today or part of tomorrow due to work, but from Friday late afternoon I’ll be available to answer any questions.

Roll on GFF — the best kind of madness! 🎥💛
