There’s something special about this time of year. The days start stretching out, the calendar fills up, and suddenly there’s a real buzz in the air. For our group, March and April are shaping up to be packed with brilliant events, new experiences, and plenty of chances to meet like‑minded people.
Whether you’re into theatre, films, board games, wine tasting, or just love a good chat with good company, there’s a lot coming your way.
Let’s look into what’s ahead.
🎲 Board Game Nights in Ayrshire & Glasgow
Our Ayrshire board‑game nights have quietly become one of the most loved parts of our calendar — relaxed, friendly, and perfect for anyone who wants a low‑pressure way to meet people.
We’ve got upcoming dates in both Ayrshire and Glasgow, with everything from quick quiz games to longer strategy games on the table. You don’t need to know the rules, you don’t need to be competitive, and you definitely don’t need to take it seriously. It’s all about the laughs, the chat, and the “wait… how do you play this again?” moments.
If you’ve never been before, this is a great place to start.
🎭 Theatre Trips: Big Shows, Big Nights Out
We’re spoiled for choice over the next 12 months with some huge productions heading our way.
Coming up:
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie
Back to the Future: The Musical
Plus a whole mix of plays, comedies, and touring shows across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Ayr, and Pitlochry
Our theatre trips are always a highlight — a great night out, a chance to see something new, and always a brilliant group to enjoy it with. Whether you’re a seasoned theatre‑goer or just dipping your toe in, you’ll fit right in.
🎬 Glasgow Film Festival: 70 Films & a Marilyn Monroe Celebration
This year’s Glasgow Film Festival is shaping up to be one of our biggest yet, with 70 films on our schedule alone. From international premieres to indie gems, documentaries, and late‑night surprises, there’s something for every taste.
One strand we’re especially excited about is Marilyn Monroe at 100 — a thoughtful, celebratory look at her life, legacy, and impact on cinema. It’s a rare chance to see some iconic films on the big screen, surrounded by fellow film lovers.
Film Festival always brings such a buzz: the post‑film chats, the unexpected favourites, the “you HAVE to see this” moments. If you’ve never joined us for GFF before, this is the year.
🍷 Annual Falkirk Wine Tasting
A firm favourite returns in June — our Annual Falkirk Wine Tasting. It’s always a brilliant afternoon: relaxed, sociable, and full of discoveries (and the occasional “I didn’t expect to like that!” moment).
Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just enjoy a good day out, this event is always a standout.
