How to Make Friends in the Group and elevate your friendship circle 🎉
Having had a fantastic day yesterday firstly at theatre then at a Halloween Party with friends I have made in our social group I had a few messages asking me "How do I get invited to events outwith the group?" "How do I get to know people better?"
The answer is actually quite simple... keep showing up!
Friendships aren't usually formed in a single evening. The people you see going to parties, meeting up for coffee, holidaying together, or sitting chatting for hours all started as strangers at one of our events.

A few tips:
✅ Come along regularly, even if you only know a few people.
✅ Sit with different people rather than staying in your comfort zone.
✅ Join the WhatsApp conversations between events & join in on social media then people will get to know your name
✅ Say yes to different types of gatherings, book groups, walks, meals and cheese & wine meet-ups.
✅ Be interested in others. Ask questions and get to know people's stories.
✅ Give friendships time to develop naturally.
Remember, nobody is automatically invited to everything. Most friendships grow because people spend time together, build trust, share experiences and discover common interests.
The great thing about our group is that every event is a chance to meet someone new. The new friends you're looking for could be sitting beside you at the next theatre trip, book group, brunch or pub night.
So if you're hoping to build lasting friendships and become part of a wider social circle, the best advice is simple:
Get involved, be yourself, keep coming along and let the magic happen. ❤️
